We’re building a private membership for Asian female solopreneurs

Check out our networking directory and three new exciting events!

I’m building a private membership for Asian female solopreneurs.

I was paid $1,500 USD to plug a one-minute ad into one of my YouTube videos before.

What people don’t know is that it took me a year to start monetizing on YouTube, that I googled and learned how to build media brand kits, had to actively sell and pitch to companies why they should partner with me, and more. A year later in Singapore, I was working with brands like DJI, SafetyWing, Ana Luisa, and ExpressVPN for paid partnerships. There were a lot of learnings.

I shared all my experiences with a friend during a 1:1 coffee chat in San Francisco.

She was building her own product-focused business and we talked about everything from our relationships to our businesses to juggling motherhood and more.

In this one hour coffee chat, we had discussions around:
- building her compelling story about being a mother solopreneur
- chatted influencer marketing, rates, and how to find creators
- I also learned more about the raw parts of motherhood and what happens if I want it all: the biz, the kid, good sex, the happy life

Because she was vulnerable with me in her business thinking, I was also vulnerable with her. This plethora of information exchange happened, which made me realize these are the conversations solopreneurs need to be having with each other.

Why? Because:

  • Every solopreneur has experiences and learnings that have immense value to their community. 100 brains are better than one and that means shortcuts!

  • Solopreneurs are often lonely and quit before they even start. While people around you are on different paths, you are building your own business, sometimes with fear, uncertainty, or doubt. Other solopreneurs get it and can propel you forward, not back.

  • Accountability is key. Having a supportive, thriving group pushes you to be better, to do better, and to show up for your business.

🤝 I wish I had an encouraging community who could’ve helped me during my journey, during the hard parts where there was so much uncertainty, where I was just in a building phase, and dealing with sometimes crippling self doubt.

That’s why I’m building a business collective for solopreneurs.

If you love AWW and the connections you’ve made in the group, then you know I’ll also be putting in the same love, energy, and attention into this new business collective 💙

Having a group of like minded individuals who motivate each other and hold each other accountable—there’s power in that.
